RICOH ADDRESS BOOK DECODER

Decode the RICOH Pro C9500 address book

The RICOH Pro C9500 is a colour printer. Like other Ricoh devices it keeps scan-to-folder logins, SMB share paths, user codes and contacts in an encrypted UCS address-book backup. Export that backup from the RICOH Pro C9500 and decode it below to read those entries in clear text.

Questions

What does the RICOH Pro C9500 store in its address book?
Scan-to-folder credentials (SMB usernames and passwords), the network paths they scan into, per-user access codes, and fax/email contacts. Credentials are base64-wrapped inside the encrypted backup — this tool unwraps them.
Do I need the backup password for the RICOH Pro C9500?
Only if an administrator set one when exporting. Many backups have no password; leave the field blank in that case. A wrong or missing password is detected and reported.
Is decoding the RICOH Pro C9500 address book legal?
Only on devices and data you own or are explicitly authorized to examine — for example during a forensic engagement, a penetration test with scope, or recovering your own organization's settings.
