Ricoh Address Book Decoder exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server so AI agents can decode a Ricoh address-book backup as a tool, plus a plain REST endpoint. The decrypt algorithm stays server-side; you send a file, you get structured data back. Use only on devices and data you are authorized to examine.

MCP endpoint

Streamable HTTP transport (JSON-RPC 2.0), stateless — no session or key required.

For non-MCP clients, a multipart form POST returns JSON directly:

Limits & terms

Rate limited per client IP; uploads are size-capped.
Decoding is for authorized forensics and audits only — see authorized use.
A decode is returned to you and also retained for the operator (encrypted at rest) for audit — do not submit data you are not permitted to share.
Only submit backups from devices you are permitted to examine.
